What is the Medical Annual Fund?

The Medical Annual Fund provides immediate funds for student scholarships and loans through annual, repeatable gifts from alumni and friends of the School of Medicine.


Why give to the Medical Annual Fund?

Annual fund dollars are necessary for the School of Medicine to offer much needed scholarship and loan assistance to deserving medical students. Supporters of the Medical Annual Fund know that providing money for student financial aid is a good & worthy—even great—cause. And for alumni, it is a way to show gratitude for helping you get where you are today and demonstrate pride in your School.

The Medical Annual Fund Supports Student Loans and Scholarships

The School of Medicine has several merit-based scholarships for which incoming students are eligible.

  • Dean's Scholarship - Merit scholarship - scholarships ranging from $20,000 to $40,000 per year
  • Satcher-Pamies - Minority merit scholarship - $30,000 per year
  • Alumni Scholarship - Merit scholarship with a need component - $20,000 per year
  • Amici Scholarships - Merit scholarships given by friends of the School of Medicine - $20,000 per year
Donor Societies
  • Graduates Society: Gifts of $500 - $999
  • Dean's Society: Gifts of $1,000 - $2,499
  • Benefactors Society: Gifts of $2,500 - $4,999
  • Founders Society: $5,000-$9,999
  • Clifford J. Vogt Society: Gifts of $10,000 or more
