Students interested in the biocultural and sociocultural dimensions of health can complete either an M.A. or Ph.D. in Anthropology. Physician-anthropologists are positioned to work in a diverse array of academic and health institutions in the US and globally. The 27-credit hour Masters level program trains students to identify and analyze a range of social and cultural dimensions of global health. Qualified students can continue in the PhD program, which trains students to conduct research on a broad range of global health issues cross culturally.
