Success of our Graduates:
USMLE Results 2006—2008
Students at the School of Medicine, on average, perform consistently higher on the United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLE) when compared to the national average consisting of all US and Canadian medical schools.
For USMLE Step 1: 97% of students pass on the first attempt compared to 93% national average. Our school’s average for the most recent three years is Mean (StdDev)=229 (21) compared to the national average of 221 (23).
Students who completed USMLE Step 1 in the Class of 2010 (the first class to complete the first and second year of the new WR2 curriculum) scored, on average, 10 points above the national average.
For the:
USMLE Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK): 92% of students pass on the first attempt compared to 95% national average. Our students’ scores for this same time frame are 224 (24) compared to 224 (24).
USMLE Step 2 Clinical Skills (CS): 98% of Case students passed on the first attempt compared to 97% national average.  |
