CLASS PROFILE FOR 2007

USMLE Results 2004—2006

Students at the School of Medicine, on average, perform consistently higher on the United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLE) when compared to the national average consisting of all US and Canadian medical schools.

For USMLE Step 1: 97% of students pass on the first attempt compared to 94% national average.  Our school’s average for the most recent three years is Mean (StdDev)=227 (21) compared to the national average of 218 (23). 

On the USMLE Step 2: 96% of students pass on the first attempt compared to 96% national average.  Our students’ scores for this same time frame are 225 (23) compared to 220 (23).
