Pamela B. Davis, M.D., Ph.D.
The Office of the Dean oversees the entire School of Medicine's academic, student and faculty affairs. The dean's duties range from preparing and administering the budget to maintaining and enhancing medical education through curricular changes as well as guiding the School's research agenda and ensuring an environment of collegiality, diversity and respect among faculty, staff and students. The dean also serves on all student-related faculty committees.
The dean accomplishes these duties with the help of a large staff of vice deans, associate and assistant deans, department chairs, and center directors.
