About the School

Jill Stanley,

Jill Stanley was promoted to the new position of assistant dean for space and facilities planning at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in June 2005.

In this role, she is responsible for planning, design, construction, project management, space allocation and utilization, relocations, and a variety of other operational issues for the medical school.  She has oversight responsibilities for the Animal Resource Center and the other major renovation projects in the School of Medicine.

Stanley grew up on a farm in west central Ohio and earned her undergraduate degree in microbiology at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. She also did postgraduate studies in zoological and biomedical sciences there. Stanley subsequently worked at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation as a senior research technologist in immunology.  She then became administrator of scientific support services at the Clinic's Lerner Research Institute. She earned her master of business administration degree at Cleveland State University in 2000. Her career also included time working at University Hospitals of Cleveland.  In 2004, she joined Case as director of space planning and operations management before moving into her current position.
