


The School of Medicine's administrative offices provide a variety of services to students, staff, faculty and alumni.
Listed below are the School's administrative offices and their primary function:
Develops, maintains and supports student Web applications such as eCurriculum, ePortfolio and eAssessments
Provides technological support for School of Medicine student, staff and faculty in addition to developing and maintaining the School's Web sites and servers
Reviews applications to the School of Medicine, conducts interviews and selects each year's entering class
Promotes the School's educational and research achievements as well as serves as a liaison to the media
Offers medical classes, conferences and seminars to alumni and community members
Supervises and supports curriculum development, implementation and evaluation as well as faculty development programs
Runs the fundraising arm and alumni chapters of the School of Medicine
Manages faculty recruitment, appointments, promotions, tenure decisions as well as human resource functions
Oversees financial management and related business services for the School including accounting and budget planning
Assists students in obtaining loans, grants and scholarships from various funding sources
Graduate programs and postdoctoral opportunities. Our trainees are a vital part of our research and educational missions.
Coordinates all research activities for medical school students including required research blocks and elective summer research opportunities
Recruits minority students and provides them with academic, social, emotional and financial support
Offers support and advice to researchers about regulatory requirements and compliance, funding, preparation and administration of grants and contracts and core resources.
Allocates and manages classroom and building spaces and supervises renovation and new construction projects for the School of Medicine
Provides academic advising, career counseling and enrichment opportunities in addition to coordinating new student orientation, class meetings and other student activities
Facilitates student scheduling and registration process and maintains student enrollment records
