Paul Thompson
Profile
Paul Thompson is a research assistant studying Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University.
He is currently working on a study that involves the co-registration of MR and histology images of rat brain tumors gathered
after the administration of photodynamic therapy (PDT). Most of his work consists of capturing images from brain slice slides
in the lab and then segmenting the region of interest (tumor) using Amira. Paul plans to pursue a graduate or professional degree and seek a career in medical research.
