Postdoctoral Fellowship: POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF LIGHT POLYMERIZABLE MATERIALS FOR RESORBABLE TISSUE ENGINEERING SCAFFOLDS Competitive candidates who have earned a PhD degree are encouraged to apply for this NIH-funded position. This annual position is renewable, with an optimal duration of two years. Due to restrictions dictated by the funding source (NIH), the candidate must be a US citizen or permanent resident. The applicant must have completed all of the requirements for their PhD prior to being appointed. This individual must have a strong background and significant experience in polymer chemistry and synthesis. Experience with polymers utilized in tissue engineering is also desirable. Work Study Research Assistant: Position available immediately in the Imaging Laboratory. Assist with research into Skull (bone) Tissue Engineering and the use of Photodynamic Therapy to treat Brain Tumors. Prior experience with histology, medical imaging, and/or rodent husbandry and surgery is desirable but not required. Hours are flexible.
